6-week Strength & Mobility Group Training

Mobility training is not about soft, passive stretching in an effort to become more bendy. It is about depth of strength and stability, targeting your weak links so that your entire chain may become stronger. Our practice will help to improve your mechanics and strengthen the end ranges of your strength in order to ensure longevity of wellness and the elimination of day-to-day micro-pains.

Participants can expect a blend of active stretching, primal flow patterns, and intense maximum effort strengthening exercises.

Students will also receive access to videos of the classes so that they may revisit the routines on their own.

Classes will be held at Metabolic Reykjavik, every Thursday from 18:45-20:00.

In this group mobility class we will explore and take control of the full range of motion within our joints. By strengthening our end ranges of flexibility we assure our nervous system that we intend to use this space and that we are capable of controlling it. Over time, the nervous system will unlock more available range. Greater mobility and strong joints equals greater efficiency of strength and reduced risk of injury.
